What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Park South View in Houston, TX on December 23rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:20 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 30-year-old Houston man was headed southbound on Park South View and attempted a left turn onto a private drive. Investigators say the driver failed to yield to an oncoming motorcycle operated by 25-year-old Joshua Daniel Avila and both vehicles collided. Avila suffered serious injuries in the collision. The Houston man was not injured.
