What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at North Freeway in Houston, TX on February 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident involved a Kia that was involved in a crash that occurred under unclear circumstances. The Kia was reportedly stationary following the crash as a Chevrolet Silverado approached. Reports say the Chevrolet struck the stationary Kia as well as its driver, identified as 33-year-old Joshua Ivie. Ivie suffer fatal injuries at the scene. Authorities allege suspicion the Silverado operator may have been under the influence of alcohol.
