Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 146 in La Porte, TX on May 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:34 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 26-year-old Turlock, CA man was northbound when it allegedly ran a red light at the intersection with Spencer Hwy. The vehicle struck a GMC Yukon, pushing that vehicle into a Ford Explorer operated by 44-year-old Joshua Kevin Johnson. Police say both Johnson and the driver of the GMC were seriously injured. The Turlock man was allegedly uninjured and authorities recommended and/or issued a Disregarding Red Light charge.
