What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Redondo Ave in Ector County, TX on September 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. A Chevrolet 3500HD was southbound on Redondo Ave when it reportedly ran a stop sign and collided with a fence. The truck went through the fence and a private driver before crashing through another fence and struck a parked vehicle. Saum suffered serious injuries in the crash. Officers suggested and/or issues Driving While Intoxicated, Disregarding Stop Sign, Operation of Vehicle with Expired License Plate and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility charges.
