What Happened

Angelina County Police are investigating a crash that killed a paramedic at US Hwy 69 near Lufkin, TX on December 22nd, 2021. Police say it happened just before 1 a.m. An EMT vehicle was headed northbound on Hwy 69 when it reportedly crossed into a southbound lane and collided with a Chevrolet Suburban before overturned. A medic in the EMT vehicle, Joshua Zaborowski, suffered fatal injuries. A patient in the vehicle as well as a passenger in the Suburban were both hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
