Texas Department of Public Safety officials identified the person killed in a single vehicle accident at Hwy 135 in Cherokee County, TX on January 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:20 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 20-year-old Juan A. Rios was reportedly headed northeast on Hwy 135 at a speed investigators believe to be unsafe. The vehicle lost control while rounding a curve in the road and veered from its lane into a pipe fence. Rios suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not available.
