Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that killed at least one person at FM 1774 and County Rd 303 in Grimes County, TX on November 9th, 2024. Officials believe the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. According to investigators, a southbound Jeep Grand Cherokee is said to have collided with a northbound Dodge Ram 1500 turning left at County Rd 303. Police a passenger in the Jeep, identified as 38-year-old Juan Cervantez, was fatally injured. The driver, who was not publicly identified, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
