Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 3167 in Starr County, TX on January 3rd, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 3:25 p.m. A Mack truck operated by a 57-year-old male was stopped facing the northwest side of the road when investigators say it turned right and traveled into the path of vehicle operated by 28-year-old Juan Daniel Garcia. Both vehicles collided and Garcia suffered serious injuries. The other driver was not injured and was charged with Turning When Unsafe.
