Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 59 in Victoria County, TX on August 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:47 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado headed northbound on US Hwy 59 is alleged to have turned when unsafe before entering into the path of a GMC Sierra in an adjacent lane. Reports say the vehicles collided, the impact causing the Chevrolet to overturn. Police say the driver of the GMC, 47-year-old Juan Delgado and 68-year-old passenger, Mateo Delgado, were seriously injured. Also seriously injured was 66-year-old passenger, Maria Delgado. Two child passengers were also seriously injured while two additional child passengers had minor injuries. The other driver was not publicly identified and was also seriously injured and charged with Intoxication Assault. Additional information was not available.
