What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at SW 24th St and Castroville Rd in San Antonio, TX on August 2nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:30 a.m. 50-year-old Juan Gallardo was reportedly struck by a passing vehicle as he was crossing the road. He was then struck and pinned by a second vehicle. Gallardo suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Police say both drivers remained at the scene and police say they are not facing charges at this time.
