Authorities have information on a collision that killed one person involved at State Hwy 114 in Irving, TX on March 2nd, 2024. Police believe the incident happened around 11:35 p.m. According to reports, a Nissan Altima was previously involved in a crash that caused the vehicle to become disabled in the eastbound lanes of the roadway. Following the collision, reports say the occupants of the vehicle were outside the vehicle while attempting to move the vehicle from the roadway. As a Toyota Camry approached eastbound, reports say the vehicle collided with the disabled vehicle and the individuals attempting to move the vehicle. One of the pedestrians was identified as 36-year-old Juan Gutierrez, who reports say was fatally injured on impact.
