What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at  Loop 12 in Irving, TX on October 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:20 a.m. Investigators believe a GMC Sierra operate day 22-year-old Juan Venegas Ipina struck a center wall for unknown reasons and became disabled in a left traffic lane. Following this, a Ford Expedition operated by 27-year-old Eric Arzola struck the disabled vehicle, causing serious injuries to both drivers. Officers allege that alcohol played a factor in the collision.
