Area authorities have information on a crash that killed one person involved at I-40 and Lakeside in Amarillo, TX on December 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:51 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang were involved with a collision with a semi-truck. Reports say the truck was exiting a parking lot onto Lakeside when the vehicles struck the trailer portion of the truck, becoming trapped under the truck. Reports say the driver of the Mustang, identified as 21-year-old Juan Flores Jr, suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
