Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Garfield Dr in Corpus Christi, TX on March 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:42 p.m. According to investigators, a Buick Encore operated by 65-year-old Juan Yanez was headed southbound when it veered from the road for unclear reasons. The vehicle then struck a fence at a private residence, the impact causing the vehicle to catch fire. Authorities were able to pull Yanez from the vehicle and say he suffered serious injuries in the crash.
