What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-35 in Fort Worth, TX on January 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:34 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 57-year-old Mark Pettibone was headed northbound when, according to investigators, it performed an unsafe lane change. This caused the truck to make contact with a northbound Dodge Journey operated by 76-year-old Juanita Garza. Garza suffered minor injuries in the collision. Pettibone was not injured. Records indicate a Change Lanes When Unsafe charge was recommended and/or issued.
