What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a woman at US 77 in Kingsville, TX on July 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 56-year-old Henderson man collided with the rear of a Honda CR-V operated by a 22-year-old student driver. A passenger in the Honda, 57-year-old Julie Lynn Chancler suffered minor injuries. Neither driver was injured. The truck driver was charged with Failure to Control Speed.
