What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at State Hwy 360 in Arlington, TX on August 23rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:17 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger was eastbound on Webb Lynn Rd before allegedly running a red light and entering into the intersection with Watson Rd. From there, reports say the Dodge collided with a southbound motorcycle, ejecting its operator. Following the collision, reports allege the Dodge fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The motorcyclist, identified as 43-year-old Julie Maldonado, was fatally injured. Th Dodge operator, one located was arrested on a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter.
