Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1925 in Hidalgo County, TX on March 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:45 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 52-year-old Leon Harold Everett Farr was headed westbound on FM 1925 as it approached a stop sign. Investigators allege the truck failed to yield when making a left turn to head southbound on FM 681. The truck collided with a Ford Focus operated by 19-year-old Julio Cesar Jaime, who suffered serious injuries in the collision. Everrett was uninjured and records indicate a Failure to Yield Row at Stop Intersection charge/citation was recommended and/or issued.
