Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 1960 in Harris County, TX on October 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:53 p.m. Investigators say a Kia Forte operated by 71-year-old June Boutte was headed eastbound in a left turn lane when it collided with a Chevrolet Cruze during a left turn. Officers say one of the vehicles may have run a red light prior to the collision, which left Boutte with fatal injuries. The Chevrolet operator, identified as 26-year-old Mario Gutierrez, had injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. His 2-year-old passenger was evaluated for possible injuries.
