What Happened

Officials in Plano, TX, are investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred on March 29, 2025, around 9:09 p.m. at the intersection of Des Moines Drive and E Spring Creek Parkway. According to investigators, an Infiniti Q50, traveling east, failed to yield while turning left and collided with a westbound Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The Infiniti, operated by a 40-year-old unlicensed female driver, was also found to be under the influence of alcohol. A 7-year-old passenger in the Infiniti sustained a possible injury. The 77-year-old  driver of the Mercedes-Benz, identified as Jurgen Hesselbach, sustained suspected serious injuries. A third vehicle, a Saturn Vue, was also involved, however, its occupants were uninjured. Alcohol use and failure to yield were identified as alleged contributing factors.
