Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 774 in Refugio County, TX on September 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:22 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 41-year-old Justin Curry was headed westbound. Officials say the roadway began to curve left as the vehicle traveled down a slight hill in the roadway. They believe the vehicle continued straight while navigating the curve, causing right side tires to veer from the road. While attempting to return to the road, the vehicle lost control, causing cargo to detach from the vehicle into the road. The vehicle overturned, sliding across the roadway, causing Curry to suffer fatal injuries. Additional information was not available.
