Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1044 in Guadalupe County, TX on October 26th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:59 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 28-year-old Justin Rodriguez, was headed southbound when it veered from the road. Police say they were told the vehicle was avoiding a deer in the roadway when it veered through a field and into a garage. Rodriguez suffered serious injuries and officers allege there was suspicion that alcohol played a factor in the crash.
