Authorities are investigating a collision that may have injured a pedestrian at Bagby St in Houston, TX on June 15th, 2024. Police are saying it happened around 2:16 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Rogue Sport, allegedly operated by 33-year-old Chioke Ogbonna Burnett, was traveling through a parking lot at the scene before making contact with a pedestrian. The pedestrian was identified as 21-year-old Juviania Sacriste. Police claim that, following the collision, the Nissan left the scene without first stopping to render aid. Sacriste had possible, unconfirmed injuries, reports say. Sources indicate Burnett was later located and allegedly charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
