Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at RM 1869 in Liberty Hill, TX on June 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:26 p.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 21-year-old Payton Wall reportedly was traveling at an unsafe speed when it lost control at a curve. It then spun out of control and struck a railroad control box near train tracks. Wall fled the scene on foot, leaving behind his 20-year-old passenger, Kaleigh Lebrun. Lebrun was seriously injured in the collision. Additional information was not available.
