What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured four people at I-30 in Grand Prairie, TX on September 25th, 2021. They say the incident happened around 7:50 p.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti Q50 operated by 26-year-old Tyler Hazelwood was reportedly traveling eastbound in the Texpress lanes of I-30 at a high rate of speed. At some point, it is said to have struck a Porsche Panamera operated by a 37-year-old Kamis Alley before overturning in the impact. A 25-year-old male passenger in the Infiniti suffered serious injuries as did Hazelwood. Alley and a 26-year-old female passenger suffered minor injuries. Police charged Hazelwood with Intoxication Assault with Vehicle causing Serious Bodily Injury.
