What Happened

El Paso police identified a woman killed in a multi-vehicle crash at I-10 in El Paso, TX on September 19th, 2021. Police say it happened around 2 a.m. and started with a westbound Ford Focus losing control and crashing into a cement barrier. From there, a Chevrolet Silverado came to a stop after reaching the Focus and was struck by a Honda Civic. The impact caused the Silverado to overturn before several other vehicles were involved. A different Silverado then struck a vehicle occupied by 27-year-old Kandy Abigail Duarte-Cassiano. Duarte-Cassiano died in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
