Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 847 in Erath County, TX on June 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:52 p.m. A Hyundai Santa Fe operated by 63-year-old Karen Celeste Hubbard reportedly failed to yield at a stop intersection and continued through the intersection before being struck by a Nissan. The driver of the Nissan was evaluated for possible injuries and charged with Riding While Unsecured by Safety Belt. Hubbard suffered serious injuries and was issued a charge for Open Container and Failure to Yield at a Stop Intersection.
