What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at County Rd 192 in Mills County, TX on April 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:50 p.m. According to investigators, a garbage truck operated by a 56-year-old Brownwood man was headed northbound on County Rd 192 and stopped facing north while attempting to back into private drive. A Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 54-year-old Karol Michelle Green was approaching northbound at an alleged unsafe speed when it collided with the truck. Green suffered serious injuries in the collision while the truck driver was evaluated for possible injuries.
