What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in Dallas, TX on February 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:50 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 37-year-old Shepherd man was headed southbound on I-35 on the service road when it allegedly failed to stop at a red light at the intersection. A Ford Explorer operated by 50-year-old Karoly Zsolt Domok collided with the side of the truck after first swerving to avoid the collision and striking the rear corner of a Saturn Ion operated by 34-year-old Bryce Lynn Thomas. Domok reportedly suffered minor injuries and Thomas was evaluated for possible injuries. The Shepherd man was not injured and records show he was issued a Ran Red Light citation.
