Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at US 69 in Hunt County, TX on October 26th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:13 p.m. According to investigators, a Kia Sportage was southbound on Hwy 69. At the same time, a Chevrolet Traverse, operated by 31-year-old Meghan Reichert, was headed northbound. For reasons that have not been confirmed, authorities allege the Kia veered into a northbound lane before colliding with the Chevrolet. The collision left the Kia operator, identified as 61-year-old Kathy Bucko, fatally injured. Reichert had serious injuries, police say. Additional information was not available.
