What Happened

Police in the area have information on a crash that injured everyone involved at Exchange Pkwy in Allen, TX on September 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:20 p.m. A Kia Optima operated by 32-year-old Scott Anthony Howell is accused of failing to control its speed while attempting to turn right onto Exchange Pkwy. The vehicle continued straight and crossed a center median before making contact with the driver's side of a Volkswagen Atlas operated by 34-year-old Katie Jeziorski. Jeziorski and Howell were both seriously injured as was a passenger in the Kia, 29-year-old Gloria Kaucic. Police allege that Howell had been drinking prior to the crash.
