Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Burton Hill Rd in Fort Worth, TX on May 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:41 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Liberty operated by 43-year-0ld Thomas Isaac Armstrong was headed eastbound of Burton Hill Rd making a turn on Santa Clara Dr. A Volkswagen Golf operated by 27-year-old Kayla Dean McClure was headed westbound on Burton when in collided with the Jeep as it turned. McClure suffered serious injuries. Investigators allege the Jeep failed to yield and also expressed suspicion of alcohol potentially playing a factor in the crash. Armstrong was not injured in the collision.
