Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 70 in Wilbarger County, TX on April 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:46 p.m. According to police, an Infiniti G37 operated by 28-year-old Keith Agustus Francis was headed southbound on US 70 while a commercial truck operated by 62-year-old Kelly Tyler was traveling northbound. Police allege the Infiniti was traveling at an unsafe speed before colliding with a guardrail and cable barrier. It then veered into a center median and into a northbound lane before it was struck by the tractor-trailer. Francis suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The other driver was not injured.
