What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Colorado St in Lockhart, TX on April 16th, 2022. Police say it happened around 10:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Mitsubishi Outlander operated by a 29-year-old Lockhart man is said to have collided with a Toyota Camry after veering from its lane. The occupants of the Camry, identified as 39-year-old Kelly Thomas and 42-year-old Auric Thomas, suffered serious injuries. The Lockhart man, who police allege was under the influence of alcohol, was also seriously injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
