Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a firefighter at Columbia Ave in Dallas, TX on December 3rd, 2023. Police say it happened around 2:45 a.m. According to officials, off-duty firefighter Kenneth Burke was traveling eastbound via motorcycle as a Chevrolet Silverado turned left ahead of the vehicle. Reports say the two vehicles collided and Burke was struck by the truck after falling into the roadway. Reports further allege the driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 51-year-old Crescencio Del Rio Rodriguez, was arrested on suspicion of intoxication.
