Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 80 in Gonzales County, TX on August 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. A Ford Taurus operated by 34-year-old Kenneth Jacob was headed south on County Rd 168 behind a tractor-trailer. Police say that Jacob allegedly looked away from the road long enough that the Ford collided with the rear of the tractor-trailer. The truck driver was not injured. Jacob suffered minor injuries.
