What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision hat injured a driver at US 377 in Erath County, TX on July 19th, 2021. The incident is said to have occurred around 9:04 a.m. A Dodge Ram 5500 operated by a 55-year-old Fort Worth man was towing a trailer full of construction equipment as it approached a stop sign. The truck stopped and then proceeded to turn left, failing to yield to a GMC Sierra C1500 operated by 79-year-old Kenneth Pressley. The Sierra slid into the Dodge due to water on the roadway and Pressley was seriously injured. The Fort Worth man was not injured and was cited for Failure to Yield at Stop Intersection.
