Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at US 82 in Cooke County, TX on December 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:11 p.m. Investigators say a Ford F-150 operated by 64-year-old Kenneth Watson was northbound on County Rd 163. At the same time, reports say a Jeep Grand Cherokee was headed eastbound on US 82. Police allege the Ford may have missed a stop sign before proceeding into the intersection and colliding with the Jeep. The crash is said to have left Watson with injuries he died from several days later. Two passengers in the Jeep had injuries considered to be non-life-threatening in nature while the driver was evaluated for possible injuries. Additional information was not available.
