Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Sam Houston Pkwy in Houston, TX on February 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 38-year-old Humble man was traveling southbound, allegedly with an unsecured load. The truck began to lose cargo, which fell from the truck onto the road behind it. A motorcycle operated by 21-year-old Kenny Truong was traveling behind the truck at the time and collided with a piece of cargo, causing it to lose control and crash. Truong suffered serious injuries in the collision. The other driver was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
