Authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people at US 183 in Gonzales County, TX on June 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:51 a.m. According to investigators, a Buick Enclave was northbound on US 183 before allegedly failing to control its speed and colliding with the rear of a Ford F-150 slowing to make a turn. The impact is said to have caused the Ford to veer into an oncoming lane of travel, where it was struck by a Toyota Rav 4. Reports indicate a passenger in the Ford, identified as 39-year-old Kerrie Morris, was seriously injured. The driver, not publicly identified, was also seriously injured, reports say.
