Lubbock Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a person at 34th St in Lubbock, TX on May 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Equinox operated by 35-year-old Kesha Reed was headed eastbound on 34th St when it collided with the rear of a Ford Fusion for unknown reasons. The impact sent the Equinox into a parking lot nearby where it crashed into a light pole. Reed was taken an area hospital with serious injuries and died shortly after. The driver of the Ford, 38-year-0ld Stephanie Stroud, suffered moderate injuries. Additional information was not available.
