Officials are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at FM 418 in Silsbee, TX on August 24th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:16 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Renegade headed westbound on Hwy 418 is alleged to have drifted into a westbound shoulder before colliding with a pedestrian traveling eastbound in a westbound shoulder. The pedestrian, identified as 53-year-old Kevin Gould, was fatally injured. The Jeep operator was allegedly uninjured and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter.
