What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at I-30 and Cesar Chavez Blvd in Dallas, TX on January 10th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:04 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord was westbound on I-30. For unknown reasons, police say 55-year-old Kevin Morris had fallen into the roadway from a bridge above, suffering an injury that left Morris unable to move out of the roadway. Morris was struck by the approaching Honda, suffering injuries he later died from. The driver of the Honda, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
