Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 67 and Wheatland Rd in Dallas, TX on June 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:51 p.m. An Acura TL operated by a 57-year-old Dallas man and a motorcycle operated by 61-year-old Kevin Nelson collided at an intersection. Police say that they were told conflicting stories by witnesses regarding which vehicle had the right-of-way during the crash. Nelson was seriously injured. The Dallas man, who suffered possible injuries, was believed to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
