Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 114 in Irving, TX on June 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened sometime around 12:58 a.m. According to investigators, a Subaru Outback operated by a 25-year-old Irving woman was headed westbound before losing control while attempting to taken an exit ramp. The vehicle is said to have veered from the road into a grassy median before striking a concrete bridge support pillar. A passenger in vehicle, identified as 27-year-old Kevin Thornton, suffered suspected serious injuries. Officials say the driver had less serious injuries and recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge.
