Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at Garland Ave in Garland, TX on October 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:31 a.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes-Benz 350 was allegedly evading pole before allegedly running a red light and colliding with an eastbound Toyota Rav4. Reports say a 73-year-old passenger in the Toyota, identified as Kim Nguyen, was seriously injured. The driver of the Toyota, identified as 62-year-old Manh Vu, had possible injuries, according to reports. The driver of the Mercedes, who was not publicly identified, was charged with Evading Arrest and Intoxication Assault with Vehicle. Additional information was not immediately available.
