Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 271 in Paris, TX on April 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:43 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 54-year-old Paris man was headed eastbound when it allegedly failed to control its speed, colliding with the rear of a Nissan Maxima operated by 37-year-old Kimberly Kenette Jackson. Police say Jackson suffered serious injuries. The Paris man was not injured, according to police, and was cited for Failure to Control Speed.
