What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 99 in Harris County, TX on March 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima operated by 21-year-old Kolby Grant was headed southbound on West Grand Parkway when it collided with a parked tractor-trailer. A GMC Sierra is said to have performed a faulty evasive action to avoid colliding with the Altima, which caused it to lose control and overturned. Grant suffered serious injuries and records indicate a Failure to Drive in Single Lane charge was issued. No other injuries were reported.
