Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Loop 323 in Smith County, TX on June 21st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:08 p.m. Investigators have stated that a tractor-trailer operated by a 41-year-old Alba man reportedly ran a red light and collided with a Chrysler 200 operated by 33-year-old Korry Lamar Cooper. Cooper suffered minor injuries in the collision. The Alba man was not injured and was issued a citation for Disregarding Red Light- Traffic Signal.
