Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 1762 in Willacy County, TX on July 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:13 a.m. Reports say a Dodge Ram headed northbound on Cantu Rd allegedly disregarded a stop sign before colliding with a Nissan Maxima headed westbound on FM 1762. Officials say the driver of the Nissan, identified as 25-year-old Kyleigh Posas Hernandez, was fatally injured. The operator of the Dodge was identified as 27-year-old Rosendo Daniel Rodriguez.
